The Power Of A Promise

When you are in a dark valley, there is always a great truth waiting for your discovery.

And when you find this gem of truth, you will experience hope for your hurting heart.

This discovery you make in the heat of your trial is the power of God’s promise to give you light in your deepest darkness.

The psalmist discovered this reality when he wrote —

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalm 119:105

If you have found yourself to be in a valley filled with shadow and darkness, then you musst run to God’s Word and discover the power of a single promise. His promises can bring light into your life.

I heard a woman give testimony this week to the power of Isaiah 41:10 to give her strength as she lay on a table waiting for a surgical procedure.

I myself have experienced the power of a single promise from God to bring comfort into my heart in these weeks of difficulty as my mother is very ill. Those words from Isaiah 41:10 have brought hope to my hurting heart —

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10

Today, dear friend, I invite you to draw near to God in His Word and discover the power of a promise. Memorize the words and carry them in your heart today.

♥ Blessings and Grace to You!
