Worship The King Of Kings

Today is known as Palm Sunday.

It’s more than a holiday. It’s a time for worship and commitment in honor of the One who is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords — Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

On the first Palm Sunday, described in Matthew 21:1-11, Jesus humbly rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. But He was seen that day, for one brief moment etched into all time, as Who He is — the eternal King. Those in the crowd spread branches from the surrounding trees on the road as a royal carpet for Heavenly Royalty — Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

And so today, I want to ask, Do you know Jesus? Do you realize that He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords? Is He Lord of your life?

Today is the day to lay yourself at His feet in worship and say, “Here I am Lord. I am Yours, always and forever. Use me as You please. I am Your servant. I love You.”

One of my favorite devotionals of all time is My Utmost For His Highest by Oswald Chambers. OC, as I call him, in one devotion after another, encourages his readers to give their all for Jesus Christ. He says —

Shut out every other consideration and keep yourself before God for this one thing only — “My Utmost for His Highest.” I am determined to be absolutely and entirely for Him and for Him alone…become more and more ablaze for the glory of God — “My Utmost for His Highest.”
Oswald Chambers in My Utmost For His Highest

Someday you will be face to face before the Lord Jesus Christ. You will know it was worth it all when you hear those magnificent amazing words, “Well done good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23).

God bless you dear friend, on this Palm Sunday, as you give your utmost for His highest, and continue on in the great adventure of knowing Him.

♥ Blessings and Grace to You!
