John 11:35

Jesus wept.
John 11:35
Jesus feels the emotion of your heart. His great love for you moves Him to a deep, intimate involvement with you. Two of the greatest words in the Bible are those found in the Gospel of John when Mary and Martha summoned Jesus in their great crisis—the death of their brother, Lazarus…As John tells us, “Jesus wept” (John 11:35). This event reveals a profound promise for our own suffering—when we weep, the Lord Jesus is emotionally moved and weeps with us. Because He is the exact explanation of God, we see that the heart of God is more than we thought or imagined…When you weep, He weeps. Having a friend weep with you is one thing, but knowing the Lord Jesus weeps with you is quite another. When He experiences your pain with you, His indescribably empathy and intimacy brings true comfort.
