Grace is something that flows from the heart of God and pours into your life, moment by moment. You can’t earn it, but you can receive it. Grace is what you need when you have no further plans of your own, no answers for your problems, and no one to help you. One of the greatest promises in all of the Word of God is in 2 Corinthians 9:8 – And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. Oh what a firm foundation God gives us when He gives us His grace. Why? Because grace gives us all things we need at all times. Because of God’s grace, we have hope and confidence in God. And we can trust in Him at all times as David encourages in Psalm 62:8.

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed.
2 Corinthians 9:8 NASB

I looked out my window and saw the faint hues of pink just beginning to appear in the sky and knew there would be a beautiful sunrise. I grabbed my camera and tripod, jumped into the car, and went to one of my favorite places to shoot the beauty of God’s artistry. I love especially the reflections in the water. I think grace at work in our life reflects the beauty of God in our character. And people can see Him at work.

And so, as we rely on God’s grace to work in us and around us, then we enjoy the great reward of experiencing His mighty Presence and Power. If we live in despair and discouragement without running to God and laying our burden out on Him, looking for His grace to pour out mercy and help, then we are leaving grace’s gifts unopened. How often have you left a gift given to you unopened.

So today, may you run to God, rely on His grace, and begin opening the mighty gift of His grace. May you continue to “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

♥ Blessings and Grace to You!
