Possibilities

Impossible! I’ve heard people say that about many circumstances. And at times, I’ve felt that a situation is just impossible. But oh, there is such a promise in God’s Word for all the impossibles of our lives. Nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). I love those words today. Originally they were given to Mary, who had been told she would give birth to Jesus. And she responded, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel concluded his words by saying, “For nothing is impossible with God.” Maybe right now, you are thinking about a promise from God in His Word, and you are wondering, “How can this be in light of all my impossibles?” Always remember the promise, “Nothing is impossible with God.”

For nothing will be impossible with God.
Luke 1:37 NASB

I was out shooting the sunrise one morning in the desert and saw this explosion of clouds with the moon lingering high above as the sun followed its path into the day. What a reminder that God is all-powerful and nothing is impossible with Him.

Be encouraged by these words from Streams in the Desert:

May we continue to persevere, for even if we took our circumstances and cast all the darkness of human doubt upon them and then hastily piled as many difficulties together as we could find against God’s divine work, we could never move beyond the blessedness of His miracle-working power. May we place our faith completely in Him, for He is the God of the impossible.
Mrs. Charles Cowman, Streams In The Desert

So today, place every impossible in the hands of your Lord, and remember, nothing is impossible with Him. Because of that one promise, there are unlimited possibilities from God for everything you face, things that may not even yet have entered your mind.
