Risen

Risen. And because He is risen, we have the hope of eternal life. When Martha ran out to Jesus after the death of her brother, Lazarus, she said to Jesus, “If you had been here, my brother would not have died.” Jesus said, “Your brother will rise again.” And dear friend, hear those words well. Because Jesus lives, we too, have the hope of eternal life.

He continued on to say,

I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?
John 11:25

When He asked “Do you believe this?” Jesus was talking with Martha. Let’s hear those words well and speak to our own hearts and souls – do we believe this?

If we truly believe in a face to face with Jesus forever life for our future in heaven, then we can walk with great hope no matter what we experience now. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Risen. Oh yes, He is risen. He is risen indeed.

♥ Blessings and Grace to You!
