Forever OLS — Preview Introduction

Next week we begin our Annual Seasonal Online Study, this year the forever favorite, my study of Revelation, A Heart to See Forever — Embrace the Promise of the Eternal Perspective. The online study begins this Friday, October 14, 2011. And I can’t wait!

We are going to discover the power of seeing life from God’s point of view. And before I forget to mention it, of course, this upcoming study in the book of Revelation is open to both men and women. You and your whole family can do it together! We will be expanding this 9 week study to 15 weeks to allow us to take more than one week for some of the chapters. I want us to linger long in the Word of God, especially important since it’s centered on the book of Revelation. Don’t worry! Even if you have eschaphobia – the fear of studying anything to do with last things – then this is the perfect study for you! And maybe you’ve never studied Revelation. Now, my friends, is the time to grab my newest book release of A Heart To See Forever, your Bible, and draw near to God.

What to do? To join the study, you’ll need a copy of my book, A Heart to See Forever. You can get it online at The Quiet Time Ministries Online Store or by calling our Quiet Time Ministries at 1.800.925.6458. If you want to be a leader, this is a great opportunity. I encourage you to invite some friends along to join you in your study. You’ll want the A Heart To See Forever DVD Leader’s Kit with the DVD messages for your group. The A Heart To See Forever book of quiet times has a Leader’s Guide and Discussion questions right inside. And there are weekly Viewer Guides in the book. So you’ll need to download the A Heart To See Forever M4V video messages or the A Heart To See Forever MP3 audio messages to follow along with the Viewer Guides inside the book.

I look forward to studying Revelation with you. There is a promised blessing in Revelation 1:3 for all who take time to draw near to God in the book of Revelation: “Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near” (NIV). Just think about the words of that amazing verse in God’s Word. We are guaranteed a blessing if we will read Revelation, hear it and take it to heart.

When all your earthly hopes have dimmed, what is going to carry you through and enable you to endure? When dreams become disappointments and this life seems to hold no future, what is going to give you hope? One thing and one thing only — an eternal perspective.
Catherine Martin
Key Verse

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
— 2 Cor 4:18 NASB

Foreword by Dr. Tim LaHaye,
Author, Minister, Educator

Some may initially question how the book of Revelation which graphically describes one of the most terrifying periods of earth’s history can be used as a quiet time tool. But make no mistake, Revelation is ultimately a book about hope, love, promises, and comfort. … After you have completed Catherine Martin’s study of the book of Revelation in A Heart To See Forever you will undoubtedly … agree with the Apostle John when he concludes in Revelation 22:20, Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

In A Heart To See Forever, I will provide gentle guidance and encouragement that will take away any fear you’ve ever had about the book of Revelation, and will open your eyes to all that God has in mind for you.

Oh friends, can’t you just sense that “the time is near” as Revelation 1:3 tells us! So get ready for this great adventure of knowing God in the book of Revelation!

♥ God bless you as you continue this great adventure of knowing Him!

Luke 5:16 NASB — But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray.
A Heart To See Forever has been an incredible study. … God has given me so much to ponder and the time to meander through His Word. … I find that Catherine’s studies are so thought-provoking and give me the opportunity to spend time with the Lord in ways that I have never done before. There are so many places within each day’s session where I can stop, ponder, pray, journal and return to or go on ahead. For the first time, I actually want to do a study over again.

A Heart to See Forever was my first real Bible study. Studying the revelation of the glorious new heaven and new earth motivated me to turn back to Genesis and begin an in depth study from there. With this perspective, I can see every book [of the Bible] through the lens of eternity.
