Catherine, Love your photos...I used to work at Carsey-Werner TV production...such shows as 3rd Rock from The Sun, That 70's Show, Cybil, Crosby, Roseanne and others...I was the assistant to Garvin Eddy-Designer and won an Emmy for Cybil....Love decorating but now my favorite time in my later years is your Bible Study, photography, and table decor settings...I don't require having to do decorating homes or show business anymore since my 2 times with cancer...now I love working and helping Seniors in their walk with our Lord and enjoying life with Tom. I'm at peace. Just to let you know I have bought everything for our 2 tables for our March 1st garden luncheon...so you don't have to think about it OK..it's done...also for the last 3 weeks they took me off the web to record who was in our class on Thursday...I hope someone is doing that for you...I tried...Blessings. La Reign

Catherine, I love all your GRACE BLOGS, and your photos that go along with them. Really inspiring!!!
I am especially encouraged by "RAINBOWS," since our son drives for FedEx and this speaks to
exactly where he is in his life right now. His heart is heavy, but the rainbows do come out , as his eyes
are fixed on the Lord, even in the midst of the darkness that has surrounded his life and family these past
several months. I shared "RAINBOWS" with them. Thanks for these, and your joyful wisdom in sharing God's
special Q.T. Words with us.

Hi, Catherine. This study is so incredibly rich. I would love to be able to stop by your blog here more frequently to share what God has been teaching me, but time won't allow it.

I loved the quote by Dr. LaHaye on page 211 that reminds me that the true purpose of the Tribulation period is "a divine expresssion of His mercy and grace...God will go tot he most extreme measures in all of history during the final days of man's life on earth to bring a massive number of souls to faith in Him so multitudes of people may enjoy the blessings He has prepared for their eternal future.:"

This quote reminds me that all of these impossibly awful things are for the express purpose of drawing men to Himself. God is wooing us all and will continue to woo throughout the Tribulation. He wants our grip loosened from everything and anything that we might clasp tightly to Him alone, that he might be the first Love of each and every human on the planet.

Wow...what a great idea. I have lists of God's attributes that I add to and use for my personal praise and prayer time. I have a gratitude blog, but a list of what knowing Jesus specifically means to me...that is a GREAT idea. Thank you for that challenge. I think I will begin my list now! :-)

I just finished the Passionate Prayer Dvd study with a group of women and it was very inspiring! I am trying to find out where the music we heard (like chanting) at the beginning of each DVD came from- If anyone knows - I would be so grateful! thanks dawn

Hi, Catherine. Thank you so much for doing this study. What a perfect time it is for me to be reminded that I need to live with God's perspective and to allow this perspective to affect everything I do, think, say *and* feel! My times with the Lord in your material in Days 1-3 this week (just finished day 3) have been so rich. His presence has been palpable. It is difficult for me to select a favorite verse or thought from the book. I feel like a dried up sponge that has been saturated with beautiful truth and is now filled beyond measure! Again, the timing of this is perfect. My 85 year old mother's health (and sanity, I am afraid) is on a steep decline, causing everyone to be aghast that a life can change so radically in two short weeks. Without the reminders I get in your material each day, I might be swept into the maelstrom that has gripped my unbelieving sister. How I long for her to know Christ and the peace that comes from knowing that CHRIST HAS DONE IT! He has WON! This tribulation is light and momentary!!! That is the eternal perspective. For her, this season in our lives is overwhelming and reminds her daily of her own aging and "mortality." It is a time of fear for her. Because of being able to embrace God's perspective in my life, I see this radically differently and it is affecting my choices, my words, my walk. THANK YOU.

Catherine,

After having spent a brief visit with you, I posted my first blog. Thank you for your helpful guidance.
I am not one of your usual responders, I am sure. I very much appreciate the sincerity and depth of your love for God.
It shows in everything I have seen of you in your words and deeds. That is a testimony to emulate.

I appreciate your perspective approach. It is the key to everything. As Jesus says in John 15:7-9 to paraphrase: If we abide in him and word abides in us, our faith is unlimited. Our faith being unlimited, (unrepressed) we bear much fruit and thus are truly his disciples (having learned from him). By acting in his spirit, (in faith) with the same measure that the Father loved him in this world, he (Jesus) will love us. Or as Peter says "(we) Who are kept by power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

I call that exciting times!

Love in Christ,

Brother Dave Runyan
