A Special Message from Catherine Martin

As I travel and speak for Quiet Time Ministries, I see a world where the celebration of our Lord's birth is spelled with an 'X', where born-again is more often used as an epithet, and where the study of the Word of God is relegated to a thirty second devotional through our cereal. I also see the faces of many, many wonderful believers who share my passion for the Word of God, and who are dedicated to teaching devotion to God and His Word through Quiet Time Ministries. What separates the surface believers and those who experience a deeper relationship with our Lord? The answer - much time spent alone in God's Word -   quiet time. No matter where you are in the world, God is as close as a humble prayer, a whisper from the Holy Spirit, and the Word leaping from the pages of an open Bible.

You are here because the Holy Spirit is leading you to a decision about financially supporting Quiet Time Ministries. You are here because you are burdened that others learn how to have a rich quiet time experience with the Lord. But Quiet Time Ministries is not about me; it's not even about you. It's about God and His Word. As Jesus affirmed, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." [Matthew 24:35 NIV]. This is echoed by the great hymn writer, Fanny Crosby in Oh, Wonderful Word, c.1886, "And we know that when time and the world pass away, God's Word shall forever endure." At Quiet Time Ministries, we desire that you know the Word of God is alive for you [Hebrews 4:12], has a purpose for you [Isaiah 55:10-11], and changes your life [2 Timothy3:16]. With every Resource from Quiet Time Ministries, our greatest desire is that you come face to face with God in His Word.
