"Walking With The God Who Cares and A Heart That Hopes In God were both written out of my own adversity in life as God has taught me more and more how to trust what He says in His Word. These books present a theology of hope from God's eternal perspective." – Catherine Martin

Catherine introduces biblical themes from this series on Hope & The Promises of God, produced in unique, but complementary A 30-Day Journey and A Quiet Time Experience formats.
The A 30-Day Journey organizes into 5 weeks, with 5 days of reading and response per week, and then a 6th day of personal quiet time experience. The A Quiet Time Experience organizes into 8 weeks, with 5 days of quiet times per week, and then days 6 and 7 for review and meditation. The quiet times are designed according to The P.R.A.Y.E.R. Quiet Time Plan™ introduced in Catherine's signature work, Six Secrets To A Powerful Quiet Time. Both books provide Discussion Questions for groups as well as other premium content in the appendices.
Every Christian has endured difficult times, and we know that God can use suffering to transform sinners into saints. But how can believers remain confident that their trials are making them stronger and not tearing them down? Walking With The God Who Cares ~ A 30-Day Journey guides you step-by-step from sorrow to joy, and from defeat to victory as you learn how to find hope in the promises of God in His Word. Catherine introduces treasure from God's promises in His Word as The Walking With The God Who Cares Promise Pages, both in this 30-day journey and as premium content for The Quiet Time Notebook™. A Heart That Hopes In God ~ A Quiet Time Experience provides you with everything you need for eight weeks of rich, meaningful devotions, as you journey through choice psalms of hope with the psalmists as your inspiration. Whereas Walking With The God Who Cares draws from a rich variety of biblical resources to present the theology of hope from God's eternal perspective, A Heart That Hopes In God centers on spiritual growth through experiential quiet times directly from the Psalms themselves. Both books are filled with illustrations and biographical sketches of biblical heroes of hope, inspirational selections from great devotional writers, and personal insights from Catherine. Both books are fully complete for you or your group! Although each book can stand alone, taken together, these Walking With The God Who Cares series books may be powerful catalysts for your spiritual growth. Enjoy!

REVIEWS & COMMENTS ON A HEART THAT HOPES IN GOD
Martin is not lax when it comes to Bible study. She offers selected Scriptures in multiple translations, and delves into original Greek and Hebrew meanings – all geared to give the reader a more firm grasp of Scripture. I love the format of the lessons: Prepare Your Heart, Read and Study God's Word, Adore God in Prayer, Yield Yourself to God, Enjoy His Presence, and Rest in His Love. Eight weeks worth of study is packed into this book. Five days of the week include complete lessons, and days six and seven of the week (presumably the weekend) are geared for meditation, reflection, and journaling about what you learned throughout the week. — PATTY KENNEDY, NATIONAL WOMEN'S DEPT., ASSEMBLIES OF GOD, BOOK REVIEW
